The ‘take large steps and return home quickly’ approach of election campaigns no longer works. Political micro-targeting and strategic data analysis ensure that elections are won. POLLING STATIONS AND POSTAL CODES
From polling stations to neighborhoods and the breakthrough of 6 character postal codes.

E-canvasser is not only capable of determining people’s political affiliations on a grid of 9,600 polling stations, but is also the only one in the Netherlands capable of determing this on a more accurate level on a grid of 450,000 postal codes.

E-canvasser is able to make an assessment of the political profile of clusters of 35 households. Until now, this could only be accurately done for clusters of 1,000 households on average.

E-canvasser accomplishes this by combining results of elections, both voting behavior and turnout rate, of approximately 9,600 polling stations with the big data of 450,000 postal codes.

Our tools help organizations involved in the communication and campaigns of political parties, (local) authorities, and charities in a focused manner to appeal to the right people with the desired political profile.

CITIZEN PROFILES AND DNA
From general citizen profiles to DNA

Instead of using predetermined citizen profiles, the characteristic political DNA of your constituents is determined.

E-canvasser is able to determine the unique characteristics (DNA) of your target group. Previously, your target group was categorized into one of the four to maximally eight distinguished general citizen profiles. Based on these general citizen profiles, citizens which met this description were determined per CBS (Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics)-neighborhood. The general stereotype citizen profile subsequently determined the type of communication. E-canvasser makes this obsolete and works more accurately.

E-canvasser is the first company in the Netherlands to determine the location of your constituents based on the six character postal code. The profile is determined by means of these constituents. This is a unique profile that only applies to a specific area.

Only those characteristics which have a statistical relevance with the voting behavior of your constituent remain part of the DNA. A citizen who is addressed based on these characteristics will take the desired action. Your communication will be more successful and much more efficient.
